Brief: Create a print of a word or phrase using screen-printing and linocutting techniques
Duration: 3 weeks
I chose the word "Obsessed" to represent my struggles with mental health. I wanted to have bold typography that stood out to viewers so I chose this thick san-serif.
Using Photoshop, I skewed the text to my liking and cut it from a rubber block. The green background section was created by fellow artist Hyeyoon Song, using scraps of paper, and printed by me.
