Hi, I'm Keiani! Nice to see you!
I'm a multimedia artist specializing in creative direction and 3D art. I currently a senior at New York University, studying in the Integrated Design & Media undergraduate program. I will be graduating in May 2024!
My life goal has almost always been to be a renaissance artist - mastering all mediums to tell compelling stories through my artwork.
A little bit about my background, my artistic journey started with tracing cartoons off of my TV as a kid. No TVs were harmed in the process. I always enjoyed drawing and illustrating fun characters and new inventions. In elementary, I became a great storyteller, meeting with my friends to write screenplays for imaginary shows. Most of what we wrote was comedy and a slew of inside jokes between the friend group.
In middle and high school, I applied my love of art to learning every medium I could get my hands on: photography, videography, screen-printing, graphic design, clothing design, everything! I wanted to become a master!
Now at NYU, I'm using new and emerging technology to create stories, primarily through 3D and graphic design.
My loves in 3D are modeling, character rigging, animation, and motion capture! My upcoming senior thesis project will include all of the 3D skills I've built up so far.
For creative direction and graphic design, I love to come up with surreal concepts and take inspiration from vintage formats. When designing, I enjoy incorporating my own work from other mediums like photography or print-making to create something new!
