The Black Travel Show
Roles: Co-Director, Art Director, Camera Operator, Social Media Manager
“The Black Travel Show”, BTS for short, is a travel docu-series that explores the multifaceted subcultures and unique perspectives of Black communities around the world. From niche individuals like a beekeeper in Brooklyn to unexplored viewpoints like family of D9 pledges, BTS captures Black culture in all its beautiful, eccentric, and historically-rich glory.
Presenting a refreshing take on the travel show genre, best friends Sophia Hawkins and Keiani Allen interview Black community figures in epicenters of Black culture and history, highlighting the expansiveness, diversity, and originality of the African Diaspora.
